                                                ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

                                                            MARCH 14, 2013

10:00 A.M.      Called meeting to order. Present: Richard B. Gorden, Ellen W. Abelson

                        and Mark J. Mazur.

1. The Board took the following actions on Fiscal Year 2013 applications for

exemption for the owners of the following parcels:

            Parcel # 128-3   Clause 41A   Granted

            Parcel # 29-42 Clause 41C      Denied

2. The Board agreed to schedule an abatement hearing with the owner of

parcel # 30-49

3. The Board reviewed a proposed letter to KRT concerning our RFP. The

Board approved a letter that will be sent to them from our Town Counsel’s Office.

4. The Board reviewed the non-price response to our RFP for Fiscal Year

2014 revaluation assistance.

5. The Board approved a Vision Government Solutions non-price proposal

overall evaluation rating of Highly Advantageous.

6. The Board opened the price proposal for our Fiscal Year 2014 RFP for revaluation assistance.

7. The Board selected Vision Government Solutions to provide Fiscal Year 2014 revaluation assistance. Note that Vision was the only bidder and that their non-price proposal was rated highly advantageous.  Note that this FY2014 bid is only 4% higher than the winning FY2010 bid for comparable work.

8. The Board took the following actions on Fiscal Year 2013 applications for abatement for the owners of the following parcels:

Parcel # 119-19   Granted

Parcel # 30-41     Denied

Parcel # 72-134 Granted

Parcel # 74-77    Denied

Parcel # 69-29    Granted

Parcel # 43-14    Denied

Parcel # 31-12    Granted

9. The Board will hold their next Board meeting at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, March 21, 2013
